Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Journal of Mechatronics, Electrical Power, and Vehicular Technology (MEV) is a journal aims to be a peer-reviewed platform and an authoritative source of information. We publish original research papers, review articles and case studies focused on mechatronics, electrical power, and vehicular technology as well as related topics. All papers are peer-reviewed by at least two referees. MEV is managed to be issued twice in every volume. The Scope of MEV Journal are:

MEV Journal publish original research papers, review articles and case studies focused on mechatronics, electrical power, and vehicular technology.

Peer Review Process

MEV uses an online submission and review system. The submission and peer review of every article must be managed using this system and based on following Peer Review Policy.

  • MEV Editorial Board is responsible for the selection of papers and the selection of reviewers.
  • Articles must typically be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers (double blind review)
  • Reviewing process will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.
  • The final decision of manuscript acceptance shall be made by the Editorial Board according to reviewers critical comments.
  • Section Editor will send the final decision regarding the submission to the corresponding author based on the reviewer’s recommendation.
  • MEV Editorial Board shall protect the confidentiality of all material submitted to the journal and all communications with reviewers.

Publication Frequency

MEV is a Journal published online twice a year in the middle of the year (July) and in the end of the year (December).

 

Open Access Policy

MEV Journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public to supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to MEV Journal will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.

MEV Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed 30% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by MEV Editorial Board using Grammarly® Plagiarism Checker and Crossref Similarity Check plagiarism screening service powered by iThenticate.
