Journal History

Publisher History:
Since its first publication in October 2010, MEV has maintained its journal title, but its publisher has undergone several changes. The Research Centre for Electrical Power and Mechatronics, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), based in Bandung, Indonesia, was the original publisher. However, in October 2021, Indonesian research institutions, including LIPI, were merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency, or Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN). As of 2022, BRIN has been MEV's official publisher.

 

Website History:
In early 2021, MEV migrated its homepage from mevjournal.com to mev.lipi.go.id to better align with the journal's objectives. Although MEV's publisher changed to BRIN, the domain mev.lipi.go.id has remained the official website of MEV to this day.
